In Brazil, NTT operates with a focus on information and communication technology services, integrating efficiency, reliability and high performance into its customers' operations.

Challenge

In the Logistics and Tax areas, several manual processes required significant time and were subject to human error. In Logistics, the team downloaded, filled out and uploaded around 60 invoices daily into SharePoint and a control application, totaling approximately 2 hours per day. In the Tax area, the process involved selecting branches and types of notes (NFSE and NFE), downloading, renaming and organizing documents in specific folders by month, year and branch, with an average time of 2 minutes and 30 seconds per file.

Solution

Both processes were automated using Power Automate Desktop, Power Automate Web and JavaScript. In Logistics, automation started to carry out the entire work cycle — downloading, filling out and uploading invoices — autonomously, classifying files by status (success or error) directly in SharePoint. In the Tax area, automation started to carry out the process in a scheduled and continuous manner, downloading, renaming and organizing files automatically in network folders, based on issuance criteria (branch, month and year). The automation speed is 1.5 notes per minute.

With automation, both areas have eliminated daily manual effort,

which represents a monthly saving of approximately 42 hours in the Logistics area alone.
