About the customer
Since arriving in Brazil in 1998, with the opening of the first store, the company has expanded its store network throughout the country. With more than 80 thousand products in 15 categories, such as Construction Materials, Electrical, Gardening and Decoration, the company also offers services such as Wood and Glass Cutting, Framing and Making Custom Curtains. In 2012, it received recognition when it was elected the company with the most positive reviews in the construction retail sector, according to research by Shopper Experience for Consumidor Moderno.
Challenge
The architecture and interior decoration area of a building materials company was looking to increase its online sales. To achieve this, the design and user experience team embarked on a journey of complete understanding of the customer's journey in the store, from the process of designing the architectural project, purchasing, to the delivery and assembly of furniture and environment.
Solution
In order to test the viability of this journey, the team explored several tools, aiming for a No Code solution. The platform chosen was Airtable, integrating perfectly into the teams' daily lives. The MVP was successfully implemented in a test store, resulting in impressive revenue of R$2 million in just 2 months.
