About the customer

Marabu do Brasil began its activities in 2005, becoming a subsidiary of the Headquarters in Germany. The first activities were basically focused on the Screen Printing area. Later, the product line also increased in the areas of Pad Printing and Varnishes. And finally, it started its line of Digital Printing inks, which today has a distribution system through resellers spread across the country. Aiming to meet the demand not only in Brazil, but also throughout Latin America, Marabu do Brasil set up its own factory, where it has a production capacity of more than 30 tones of paint per month.

Challenge

The company needed to develop the Compass Portal to integrate all stakeholders. The Marabu ecosystem has distributors, technicians and customers. In this way, they would empower distributors, so that they are more efficient in business management, with reports and statistics, which improve communication with customers and technicians, gaining visibility to create new market strategies and even the sales funnel.

Solution

“In this project, ART IT worked with an agile process, creating stories based on the needs of distributors, customers and technicians. We use UX and UI techniques to design the dashboards according to the journey of each profile, and following the visual identity of the German headquarters. The development team needed to understand the various business rules that exist in the ecosystem”, explains Rodrigo Bizarro, director of IT and innovation.

Compass Portal

It took 4 months of development, and with each delivery, the system was already available to go into production, to run a pilot project with one of the distributors, it was later replicated throughout the ecosystem and translated into several languages.
